I was first exposed to carpentry in 1998 as a laborer on a framing crew in Madison Wi. I continued working in the building and remodeling industry for various companies until I moved to San Diego in 2003. At that time I ventured out on my own and established Fullerbuilt, a finish carpentry company.
I worked to establish Fullerbuilt as one of the premier finish carpentry contractors in San Diego. In 2006 my focus shifted from finish carpentry to millwork. This shift in specialty was from onsite trim installations to custom built Entry and Interior doors, Stairways, and Cabinetry. It was at this time that my ever growing passion for woodworking and design began.
My Leopardwood and Wenge music stand which has won an honorable mention at the Design and Wood International Woodworking Contest was my first commissioned furniture piece. I am now working on more original designs for a complete line of contemporary furniture and accessories. My furniture and accessories will be available soon at www.eijifuller.com.
